Bird Frame
LiveA Haikubox in the yard IDs birds by their songs. Each visitor gets painted as a Japanese woodblock-style print and shows up on an e-ink panel and our Samsung Frame TVs.
Hey guys! A few of you asked what I've been doing with Claude, so here's the rundown.
A handful of these started as regular Claude chats. Most of them I built with Claude Code, the version that works directly on my Mac: it writes and runs the code, sets up the servers and wires everything together while I steer. A lot of it quietly runs our two houses. Some of it is just for fun.
Most of this runs on a Raspberry Pi at each house.

Live feed and remote control for Jasper's Yoto player, plus our own custom cards. Yes, there's a Ms Rachel one.
Printing our own Yoto cards on an ID-badge printer with blank NFC tags.

Kids' videos stored on the Pis at both houses, synced every night and sent to the TVs from one bookmark.
Our music archive served to Sonos straight from the Pis, no Plex subscription needed.
